The recent invasion of Venezuela by military force, the seizure of that country’s president, and the declaration that the United States will now run Venezuela and control its natural resources—these are acts of war that only Congress can declare. And it has not made such a declaration. This unilateral invasion of another sovereign nation is a reckless and illegal use of executive power which must be curtailed. It constitutes a blatant violation of the American constitution and the core principles of international law.

Also, the massive bombing of Iran and widespread fatalities is another blatant and unilateral act of war by the United States without congressional authorization, and clearly in violation of the Constitution.

Therefore, WE THE UNDERSIGNED citizens call upon Congress to rein in this runaway abuse and return the foreign policy of the United States to proper and peaceful respect forthe constitutional and international order:
